- Can I switch a private post to shared later if I change my mind?
- Yes. Visibility on any post can be updated after the fact. A private post can become a Connections post or a public post whenever you decide it is ready to share. The decision is never permanent.
- What happens to my private posts if I delete my account?
- Deleting your account removes your data from the platform. Before deleting, you can export or save anything you want to keep. We recommend reviewing your private posts before account deletion, as they will not be recoverable afterward.
- Is Legacy Ping primarily a private diary app or a social app?
- It is both at the same time — that is the point. You can use every feature publicly, privately, or anywhere in between. The people who use it primarily as a private diary tend to discover the social features later. The people who come for the social feed tend to start keeping more private posts over time.
- Can I add voice notes to private posts?
- Yes. Voice notes are a supported post type in Legacy Ping. A private voice note is stored in your feed for your own listening — it is not shared, transcribed, or made accessible to anyone else.
