Legacy Ping lets you record voice notes as posts in your Legacy Feed. Private, shared with connections, or sent to someone as a future message — in any format, the voice is preserved.
The ordinary recording is the one that matters.
People record weddings and graduation speeches. They rarely record the Tuesday afternoon call where their mother explained how she made the sauce, or the voice note from their best friend in the middle of a hard month. Those ordinary moments are the ones that become irreplaceable.
Legacy Ping treats a voice note as a first-class memory — not a message format you send and forget. A voice post in your feed is a record. It has a date. It stays.

A future feature in Legacy Ping: AI Voice Narration is designed to let a sender's recorded voice read their written message aloud. The words are preserved. The voice makes them feel present.

- Can I record a voice note directly in the app, or do I have to upload a file?
- You can record directly inside Legacy Ping. The in-app recorder is part of the post creation flow — tap record, speak, and the voice note becomes part of your post.
- What format are voice memories saved in?
- Voice notes recorded in Legacy Ping are saved in a standard format accessible through the app. Specific export formats will be communicated when data portability tools are available at launch.
- Can I send a voice note as a future message?
- Yes. A voice note can be included in a message scheduled for future delivery. The recipient hears your voice when the message arrives — not just reads your words.
- Is AI Voice Narration available now?
- Not yet. AI Voice Narration — where a sender's recorded voice reads a written message aloud — is a coming soon feature. It will be clearly labelled and explained when it becomes available.
- Can I keep a voice memory private so only I can hear it?
- Yes. Voice notes set to Private are visible and audible only to you. They are stored in your Legacy Feed as a personal record — your voice, for your own archive.
